Text Messaging via Email

I just figured out that you can send a text message to someone by sending an email to a special address provided by the carrier.

Here are a list of email address you can use to send text messages. Be sure to replace the '9999999999' with the recipient's phone number (ie. 9794921234@messaging.sprintpcs.com)

Sprint - 9999999999@messaging.sprintpcs.com
T-Mobile - 9999999999@tmomail.net
Verizon - 9999999999@vtext.com
Cingular - 9999999999@mobile.mycingular.net
Nextel - 9999999999@messaging.nextel.com
AT&T - 9999999999@mobile.att.net
AllTel - 9999999999@message.alltel.com
